About the artists:

Andrew Simon (clarinet)
A graduate of The Julliard School and winner of the International Clarinet Society Competition and the Artists International Young Musicians Auditions Clarinet Award, Andrew Simon has performed as soloist with numerous orchestras including the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. He has performed on WQXR, on BBC Radio 3 with Peter Donohoe, and on television in the United States, Yugoslavia, China, Hong Kong, North Korea and South Korea. Mr. Simon is currently Principal Clarinet of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra

Warren Lee (piano)

A scholar graduate of Yale University and Royal Academy of Music, Warren Lee was the winner of the 1995 Stravinsky Awards International Piano Competition and the Grand Prix Ivo Pogorelich.  He made his debut with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of six.  At sixteen, he entered the Royal Academy of Music in London on an ABRSM Full Scholarship. He was later recruited into Yale's graduate School of Music. In 2000, he graduated from both institutions with top honours and numerous prizes.

To date, Mr. Lee has made over a dozen recordings for RTHK Radio 4, and was invited to be its Artist-in-Residence in 2004 & 2005.
